a beautifully illustrated biography of the Delany sisters written
by Amy Hill Hearth, the
journalist and author who first found the then-reclusive sisters
in 1991 and was co-author with the sisters of the 1993 bestseller,
Having Our Say. Published by Abingdon Press, the children's
book is illustrated by the award-winning artist, Tim Ladwig. (Publication
date: January 2003).

evening, April 18, after Touched
By An Angel. It stars Diahann Carroll, Ruby Dee
and Amy Madigan, with Lisa Arrindell Anderson, Mykelti
Williamson, Lonette McKee and introducing Audra McDonald
with Richard Roundtree, Special Appearance by Della Reese
as Martha Logan. Based on the book by Sarah Delany and A.
Elizabeth Delany with Amy Hill Hearth. Teleplay by Emily
Mann and directed by Lynne Littman. It is being produced
by Camille O. Cosby and Judith Rutherford James who
also produced the play on Broadway and its subsequent tour to 127
cities.
